So my company has decided to inflict me on Boston or vice versa depending on your point of view. It should be pretty interesting to say the least. Those yanks won’t know what hit them. I will hit at least one Irish pub during my week-long stay just to say I’ve to a pub in Boston but other than that it should be a quiet and un-eventful trip. A simple deployment with someone standing over my shoulder learning how it’s done. What could go wrong?
Anyway I fixed my twitter widget, apparently it lost my user/pass so it wasn’t getting any data. I also figured out the repeated items on the sidebar were two different widgets. One of them included the Meta menu as a feature and didn’t say so except as an afterthough. Bastards.
I have almost managed a post per day since I started the new joint and last night’s post was written from the new and shiny mobile admin interface on my Windows Based Mobile Device so I have no real excuse for not posting no matter where I am.
As an aside I decided to test the use of the cell phone as a wireless router and managed 2.5 Mbps download speeds. Of course as far as power goes it needs to be plugged in so using the phone and laptop without a power outlet wouldn’t give me that much time it works and does it well. I am happy to have a decent Windows product. My only hate for Microsoft has been the crappy operating system and even XP is decent. I still prefer Linux on the Desktop but that’s personal preference at this point.
I hope you all had a good weekend. I know I did. I’ll see you all from a different timezone next time…

Some of my plugins are not working and it’s pissing me right off. The widgets and standard items are showing all on the sidebar on one computer but not another, the twitter widget isn’t posting daily digests after the first day, and the damn icon is broken on my mowser widget (which works well otherwise). I’ll try and fix this shit tomorrow. How damn annoying…
